Adorable Arts Petit Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Vol.1 by Square Enix — Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Barret, Red XIII, and Rufus Get the Chibi Treatment, Pre-Orders Open!
Square Enix has opened pre-orders for Adorable Arts Petit Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Vol.1, a six-figure box set that takes the playable core of FF7 Rebirth — plus Rufus Shinra, of all people — and shrinks them down into the company’s new chibi-scale collectible line. Pre-orders begin now for a September 2026 release.
What makes this set different from the typical Square Enix figure drop: it isn’t a blind box. The 6-pack BOX contains exactly one of each character — Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie, Barret, Red XIII, and Rufus — so collectors aren’t gambling on duplicates. That’s an unusual amount of mercy for a Japanese trading-figure release, and a strong sign that Square Enix is positioning this Vol.1 as a gateway set rather than a chase-completion grind.
If you’re an overseas Final Fantasy fan looking to pre-order this set with worldwide shipping from Japan, here’s the full lineup, the design choices behind the heights, and where to get yours.

Why This Set Is Bigger Than It Looks
Adorable Arts is Square Enix’s mid-shelf chibi line — bigger and more sculpted than blind-box trading figures, smaller and more affordable than scale figures. Adorable Arts Petit is the new sub-line debuting with this Vol.1, designed to fit in the negative space between Adorable Arts proper and standard mini-figure releases.
What’s notable about the Vol.1 lineup is the cast composition. The six figures cover the four core party members from the original Final Fantasy VII opening hours (Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII), then add Yuffie — who joined the party much earlier in Rebirth than in the 1997 original — and Rufus Shinra, the corporate antagonist. Pulling Rufus into a chibi set alongside the heroes is a small but unmistakable signal: this set is themed around Rebirth’s expanded character focus, not just nostalgia for the original PS1 cast.

The Lineup — Each Sized to Match the Character
One detail that separates Adorable Arts Petit from a uniform-scale trading figure line: each figure is sized to match the character’s natural proportions. Cloud stands tallest at the full 80mm, Tifa and Yuffie at 70mm, Barret at 79mm (and that’s before counting the gun-arm), while Red XIII drops to 51mm because — well, he’s a quadruped. All six share the same φ50mm round display base, so they line up cleanly on a shelf despite the height differences.
Cloud Strife — approx. 80mm
The tallest figure in the set, with the Buster Sword retained as a back-mounted accessory. Standard-issue Cloud silhouette: SOLDIER 1st Class outfit, that hair.

Tifa Lockhart — approx. 70mm
Tifa in her Rebirth combat outfit. The chibi proportions soften the silhouette without losing the character read.

Yuffie Kisaragi — approx. 70mm
The materia hunter and Wutai infiltrator, oversized shuriken intact at chibi scale. Yuffie’s expanded role in Rebirth makes her near-mandatory for any modern FF7 lineup, and she gets the proper treatment here.

Barret Wallace — approx. 79mm
Barret with the gun-arm prosthetic preserved at chibi scale — the kind of detail that’s easy to abstract away when you’re scaling down, but shouldn’t be. The Adorable Arts Petit sculpt keeps it.

Red XIII — approx. 51mm
The shortest of the six on paper, but only because he’s posed on all fours. The sculpt commits to the fur volume around the mane and the flame-tipped tail, which is the part that usually disappears in cheaper chibi treatments.

Rufus Shinra — approx. 70mm
The wild-card inclusion. Putting Rufus in the same Vol.1 box as the AVALANCHE party is a direct nod to Rebirth’s expanded antagonist screen-time. White suit, double-barrel shotgun, exactly the energy you’d expect at chibi scale.
Where to Buy — Worldwide Shipping from Japan
The Japanese pre-order window opens now for a September 2026 release, with most distribution running through Japan-based retailers and Square Enix’s own store. International FF7 fans typically face two roadblocks: many Japanese retailers don’t ship most regions directly, and proxy services tack on unpredictable handling fees per box.
TORIDORI SELECT stocks Adorable Arts Petit FFVII Rebirth Vol.1 for international pre-order, with transparent shipping from Japan worldwide. Pre-orders are secured directly from official Japanese distribution.
